WHO we are:

Jackie Greenwood, Owner/C.E.O.

Jackie graduated from Texas A&M University in 1992 with a B.A. in Communications and Marketing.  In 1998, she made the decision to start her own company in the healthcare industry.  Her father, Dr. Mario Bertoni, was a radiologist and had been providing locum coverage for years.  Jackie realized there was something there and thus began Novus Medical.  Through trial and error, she grew the company and within a year began hiring staff to support the workload.  Jackie currently remains active in the daily operations of the company.  She is responsible for planning and implementing strategic growth while also developing budgetary goals and developing new areas of business.

 Christi Rhome, Owner/C.O.O.

Christi graduated from Texas A&M University in 1993, with a B.S. in Finance.  She also began working in the banking industry.  She met Jackie while working at the bank and they formed a great working relationship between their two departments.  She contacted Jackie in 2002, and was hired immediately to head up the Nursing division and work on Government contracts.  The division’s profits grew 30% each year and in 2006, she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.  She directly supervises the Recruiting Consultants and develops the training program which is constantly changing.  Beginning in 2004, Christi was asked to sit on the Ethics Committee for the National Association of Physician Recruiters.  Seven years later, she still works directly on the committee ensuring ethical standards are in place for the industry as well as investigating any allegations made against members of the N.A.P.R.

Rachel is a graduate of Texas A&M University. Upon receiving her B.S. and B.A., she went to work for the government as an Intelligence Officer.  After three years, she decided to go back to A&M and work towards her Masters in International Relations.  She is a master communicator and uses this skill in working with our Clients and Candidates to provide excellent service in the healthcare recruiting industry.  She has worked in this field for almost a year and strives for perfection in every placement.  If you’re a physician, you will love her candor.  If you are a Client, you love her ability to find the right person to fit into the facility’s environment.
